How do chemical peels work?

Chemical peels come in a variety of depths, and during your consultation, Dr Ayesha will analyse your skin type and concerns to select the correct solution. A specially selected cocktail of ingredients is used for superficial, moderate and deep chemical peels, and these come in varying strengths depending on the desired result.

During a chemical peel, your skin experiences a controlled injury, which encourages the exfoliation step, followed by the skin creating new collagen and elastin. By instigating the skin’s own rejuvenation, a skin cycle is induced more quickly than a normal skin cycle of 28-30 days.
