Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is one of Dr Ayesha’s preferred techniques for fixing those niggling features you dislike about your front teeth.

A minimally-invasive alternative to veneers, composite bonding is a solution to get you smiling again (and it’s generally drilling and anaesthetic-free, too!).

Treatment Benefit 1

Identical to real tooth structure

Dr Ayesha will aim to skilfully layer the composite resins in a way that will complement your face and gum line.

She will also ensure that the resins are an identical match for your existing tooth shade. If you are having a full smile makeover with composite bonding, she will invite you to express what kind of tooth shade you would most like to have for your new smile.

Treatment Benefit 2

Quick and less invasive substitute to veneers

The composite layers are added to your teeth without the need to remove any natural tooth structure (which would be the case with veneers).

It’s a super easy way of beautifying your teeth, and it often takes just one appointment.

Treatment Benefit 3

Reverse what you don’t like about your teeth

From chips, cracks and misshapen teeth to discolouration and small fractures, composite bonding can do it all.

It can even be used to fill the small gaps between your teeth that have been bothering you (saving you the need to get braces!).

FAQs

How does Composite Bonding work?

Composite Bonding involves the layering of resins to your teeth.

These resins are translucent (just like real tooth enamel) and will be the same shade as your existing teeth.

A UV light is used to cure the resins and solidify them in place, and the tooth is then polished, giving it that tooth-like shine and feel.
